Export a Workspace

Ctrl allows Workspaces to be shared between devices using the import/export process. Workspace files have the .cwi extension whilst bundled workspaces feature the .cwi-bundle extension.

To export a Workspace, follow the steps below:

  1. Open Ctrl for iPad and load the workspace to export
  2. Open 'Settings' by tapping the Gear icon in the bottom left corner
  3. Select the 'Preferences' tab
  4. Tap 'Export' then follow the in-App dialogue to select an export method
  5. Done!

Export a Bundled Workspace​

Bundled Workspaces contain all non-standard assets associated with the workspace allowing workspaces to be transfered between devices easily.

These assets include:

  • Custom Colour Palettes
  • Images
  • Audio
  • Video

To export a Bundled Workspace, follow the steps below:

  1. Open Ctrl for iPad and load the workspace to export
  2. Open 'Settings' by tapping the Gear icon in the bottom left corner
  3. Select the 'Preferences' tab
  4. Tap 'Export as Bundle' then follow the in-App dialogue to select an export method
  5. Done!
